Biocontrol's CSO, Dr. David Harper today presented a plenary address to the Edinburgh International Phage Conference, entitled "Phage therapy: Raising the bar on the clinical work".

The talk presented additional data from Biocontrol's recently completed clinical trial, while emphasising the need for high standards in clinical trial work to underpin evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

The Edinburgh International Phage Conference is a European supplement to the Evergreen, and the Molecular Genetics of Bacteria and Phages meetings, with an emphasis on the use of phages and their products in biotechnology. Its aim is to unite researchers who are new to the field, with the invaluable pool of knowledge built up over the last 40 years of phage research.
