Biocontrol receives Development Award under the Grant for Research and Development Scheme from the London Development Agency

Biocontrol has been awarded a £200,000 development grant by the London Development Agency (LDA). This is to support both the company's current clinical trial and an expansion of the work of the company into aerosolised formulations for its bacteriophage-based biological antibiotics.

The LDA is the Mayor's agency responsible for driving London's sustainable economic growth, working with partners from industry, and the public and voluntary sectors. The Grant for Research and Development scheme provides funding to help small and medium sized enterprises carry out research and development work that will lead to technologically innovative products or processes. This grant is a DTI scheme and is delivered through the LDA.
